A: If the client wishes to maximize the stretchout for his or her children, while also keeping the option to toggle the trust to an accumulation trust, then you cannot have a charitable beneficiary named in the trust (or the estate). The compromise here would be to keep the IRA Inheritance Trust® only as a conduit trust and remove the toggle switch feature.
